ACMR was honored at the 2018 Georgia Bio Life Sciences Health Impact Awards, which took place February 15th at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre.
ACMR was one of only five companies, institutions or individuals to receive the Georgia Bio Community Award. Georgia Bio, the state’s life science advocacy and business leadership industry association, uses this award to celebrate those who have made significant contributions to Georgia’s life sciences community.
“It’s an honor to have ACMR, once again, recognized for excellence by industry experts,” said ACMR Director of Operations, Eric Riesenberg, who accepted the award on behalf of the research facility. “Our continued recognition is a testament to ACMR’s dedicated professionals, and their contributions to medicine and the community.”
Located in Southwest Atlanta, ACMR offers 150,000 square feet of space designed and dedicated to conducting research studies. The Center, which continues to be the crown jewel of Atlanta’s medical research industry, offers 300 inpatient beds in 15 separate unit spaces and the latest medical research equipment.
“From the beginning, our goal was to offer groundbreaking medical research in a state-of-the-art facility,” explained Riesenberg. “We’re privileged to have this goal come to fruition in the great state of Georgia and are extremely grateful for the award.”
