In-patient unit:
Our 24-hour inpatient research unit is open and fully staffed 24 hours per day, seven days a week. The unit offers a common dayroom area for leisure activities like ping-pong, video games, television and board games. Our full service kitchen can design and serve specialized menus to meet protocol specific needs. The nursing station is centrally located on the unit for continuous observation of study participates. The facility is secured and has closed circuit TV monitoring.

ACMR helps make inpatient stays more enjoyable by providing individualized activities in our Recreation Room that features a complete ceramics workshop, exercise equipment and arts and crafts. The secured courtyard area offers a comfortable setting for recreational activities such as basketball and horticulture. All activities are developed for each study participant keeping in mind the study design (placebo/pk) and length of inpatient stay.

Monitoring rooms:
At ACMR, dedicated (private) monitoring rooms are equipped with telephone, telefax access, internet lines and copy machine access. For site initiations a spacious conference room is available.

Pharmacy:
We have a full time pharmacy technician and a part time pharmacist who are responsible for study drug receiving/shipping, study drug accountability logs, ordering of study medication (including IVRS systems) and enrollment log completion and faxing.

Equipment:
ACMR maintains up-to-date equipment to conduct all phases of clinical trials. We track and document equipment calibration and obtain specific certifications that allow our staff to perform necessary study procedures.
